You can now check our high fidelity prototypes for the FARM project!
The aim is to provide the complete design of tools that will help in achieving better efficiency, development as well as improving the quality of decision making in ARD.
By default, a tool prototype and a tool design is flexible enough, allowing the future development in different platforms, incorporating different material or data, connecting to different resources, e.g. databases, and subsequently the integration of the respective tools in different environments, providing transferability
The aim of this intellectual output is to deliver a conceptual specification and prototypically designed package for the two DSS tools.

Our lab hosted another physical meeting about the EU funded Erasmus+ project, FARM.
The main idea of FARM is to facilitate and reinforce cross-sectorial collaboration in ARD by providing support to ARD practitioners to scale-up their activities by integrating innovations for sustainable development of ARD. This project proposal is based on the idea of exchange of innovations in the field of ARD in order to produce maximum long term benefit for the ARD community in Europe. FARM is focusing on following priorities: fostering ARD sector through systematizing and approaching usage of ICT-DSS in ARD to target groups; developing and improving competences of current ARD professionals; improving decision making by emphasizing the vital role of ICTs to empower rural communities, improve rural livelihoods, and build sustainable agriculture and food security.
The meeting took place on 6th of September 2022 at the University of Cyprus Library at Nicosia, Cyprus.
In the meeting partners discussed about the prototypes. Future work was also a topic of discussion.

We finished the Low Fidelity Prototypes for the Farm Project!
Prototyping helps in identifying usability issues. Even though paper-based low-fidelity prototypes do not allow for user interactions, they help in identifying possible technical and design limitations from the onset.
They are used to demonstrate the early visualisation of the design, which in turn helps provoke innovation and improvement.
It should be noted that during Lo-Fi prototyping, in addition to improving the design through a HCD approach, its likewise an opportunity to explore oneβs imagination and thoughts about the design. It is an ideation phase that has no restrictions.
It will serve as an opportunity for the consortium/users to share feedback early in the design process.
