The intensive training of students for the Erasmus+ JobJo programme was completed on Monday 4 July.
Dr Konstantinos Tsouris gave a lecture on “Job interview – a practical approach: common questions and techniques”. Afterwards, the students presented their final projects. The students completed and presented their projects successfully. The two-day session was completed with the Certificates that were given to all participants.
We thank all the students from Jordan for their participation in this intensive two-week training. Also, many thanks to Dr. Konstantinos Tsouris and Mrs. Aggeliki Tziongkourou for their help during the training!

GTUp! is funded through the Erasmus + KA220-HED – Cooperation partnerships in higher education.
Girls Team Up! is an Erasmus+ project that focuses on inclusion and diversity in all areas of education, training, and sports. It addresses digital transformation through the development of digital readiness and capacity. GTUp! aims to develop a global system dedicated to training in new active methodologies in online environments. This project will also include an interactive game that improves physical, technical, and tactical skills in different sports modalities. Re-Think/Re-Act focuses on the inclusion of secondary education students with adaptation difficulties and/or behavior in classrooms due to poor training of soft skills, which, currently, supposes a real challenge for education systems, since they tend to focus their training on hard skills as a priority.
RT RA aims to develop a global model of care for students, through different results closely related to each other, so that it will provide tools to accompany those students in the search for their own talent, encouraging reflection and positive emotional reaction, which in turn leads them to redirect possible disruptive behaviors and attitudes.
The project launched with a few successful meetings already!

Our lab hosted another physical meeting about the EU funded Erasmus+ project, T4SVEN.
The T4SVEN project addresses the priority innovative practices in a digital era by developing and introducing guidelines and training for Education and Training (VET) teachers for integrating digital technologies in teaching and learning meaningfully, particularly concerning the distinctive features of VET such as work-based learning (WBL) and sector-specific skills. The meeting took place on 30th of June until 1st of July 2022 at the University of Cyprus Library at Nicosia, Cyprus. In the meeting partners discussed about several tasks: development of the platform, finalization, translations, piloting propositions, interim results, virtual scenarios, peer evaluation. Future work was also a topic of discussion.

The intensive student training for the Erasmus+ project JobJo, continues with students from Jordan participating and attending a variety of new and useful activities on Thursday 30th of June and Friday 1st of July.Michalis Panayides gave a lecture on why LinkedIn is useful as an employability tool and how to use it in order to successfully find job opportunities.Stylianos Argyrou demonstrated a live LinkedIn account creation along with an effective way on how to write the information on each section in LinkedIn. Dr. Constantinos Tsouris gave a lecture on the process of looking for and applying for a job. Then Dr. Tsouris answered questions about detailed matters like references and cover letters.As an assignment, the students had to create individual LinkedIn accounts and prepare a skills document that highlighted how they have obtained the skills mentioned on LinkedIn and their document. The students completed and presented their assignments and projects successfully. They have also answered a questionnaire about their experience with this session.

DIG-IT provides solutions to address the imbalance and inequity of digital education opportunities offered at EU universities. The meeting took place on 5th-6th of May in 2022 at the University of Cyprus Library at Nicosia, Cyprus. Partners discussed the last developments on the project and agreed on future work. During the meeting, videos that will be used in the project were recorded.
