Soteris Constantinou is a member of the Data Management Systems Laboratory
(DMSL) in the Computer
Science Department - University of Cyprus since 2019. He holds a BSc
in Computer Science (First Class Honors) from the University of South Wales and became a Microsoft Certified Professional
in 2018. In 2024, he earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus, under the supervision
of Prof. Demetris Zeinalipour.
His primary research interests include Data Management in Computer Systems and Networks, particularly Internet-of-Things (IoT)
Management, smart homes/cities, energy efficient applications, and green planning taking into consideration the reduction of
CO2 emissions. He also enjoys combining research, discovery and problem-solving to create novel services that
will benefit society.
