“Interrupted Cities: The Buffer Zone of Nicosia”_University of Parma and EPUM Collaborative Learning Activities
Students of the Master’s Degree Seminar in Sustainable Urban Design, organised by prof. Marco Maretto, prof. Barbara Gherri and Prof Marta Calzolari at the University of Parma, initiated Collaborative Learning Activities in EPUM’ digital platform (epumplatform.eu). In Spring and Summer 2020 the seminar theme is “Interrupted Cities: The Buffer Zone of Nicosia (Cyprus)”.
The seminar adopts a methodology (RAM) that combines the tools of Urban Morphology with those of Environmental Analysis and Urban Design (see Maretto, M., (2018), Teaching Urban Morphology in a Sustainable perspective, in Oliveira, V. (ed.), “Teaching Urban Morphology”, Springer).
