IEEEXtreme 5.0, the 24-hour online programming competition for IEEE student branches worldwide, will be held 22 October 2011. The competition features teams of IEEE student members, supported by an IEEE Student Branch and advised by an IEEE Member, competing in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.

Registration is now open until 7 October 2011.
