The Company
Hydro-comp Enterprises Ltd is a leading multinational company specialising in providing consulting services and implementation of commercial and IT systems in the Water Utility industry. Recent growth and current international market development have necessitated the creation of a new position in our Product Services Division headquartered in Cyprus.
The position
Systems / Support Engineer: The primary function of the position will be the on-site technical support of EDAMS systems (Billing, Network Asset Management, Operations & Maintenance)
Requirements
Computer Science or similar degree.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server enviroment and operating system.
Experience in the use of MS SQL Server and good knowledge of SQL.
Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
Desire and ability to work in a challenging environment.
Critical thinking and problem solving ability.
Experience with GIS systems and Crystal Reports will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
End-user support (on-site, telephonic & Internet).
Installation, set-up and configuration of EDAMS systems and ancillary products (e.g. MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports).
Training of end-users (managers, systems administrators and operational staff)
On-site assistance in the operation of EDAMS systems.
Development of reports and SQL scripts.
